Library now open 5 days per week; book club to discuss WWI tanks
FORT BENNING, Ga. (Jan. 3, 2018) – The Maneuver Center of Excellence Headquarters Donovan Research Library is now open five days a week: Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The library will be closed weekends, holidays and training holidays.
The virtual branch of the MCoE HQ Donovan Research Library is available 24/7 at www.benning.army.mil/library.
The library has many resources available to the public, and is showcasing a few of them Jan. 8 through 10. Find out more by visiting the library in person during their opening hours.
Join the library and Dr. Robert Cameron, U.S. Army Armor Branch historian, at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 18 to discuss tanks during World War I. Suggested readind includes Treat ’em Rough! By Dale E. Wilson, Tank by Arch Whitehouse and selections from the library’s WWI student papers at www.benning.army.mil/library/content/Virtual/Donovanpapers/wwi/index.htm. Participants may bring lunch, but coffee and dessert will be provided by the library.
