2-58th Infantry Regiment holds change of responsibility

FORT BENNING, Ga. (Nov. 14, 2017) – Command Sgt. Maj. Donald R. Robertson relinquished responsibility of the 2nd Battalion, 58th Infantry Regiment, to Command Sgt. Maj. William D. Wilson Nov. 14 on Kanell Field at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Lt. Col. Stephen Bourdon was the reviewing officer. In May 1987, the 58th Infantry Regiment was assigned to the Infantry Training Brigade, Fort Benning, Georgia, which was subsequently re-designated as the 198th Infantry Brigade, where they continue to maintain a reputation for excellence in training new infantrymen.

The soldiers of the regiment continue to uphold the Regiment’s motto, “Love of Country, Patriots!”
