Armor School commandant serves as Veterans Day parade grand marshal

The Veterans Day Parade begins with Maneuver Center of Excellence Soldiers crossing a bridge into Columbus, Georgia.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (Nov. 13, 2017) – Brig. Gen. David A. Lesperance, commandant of the U.S. Army Armor School at the Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Benning, served as the grand marshal of the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Columbus, Georgia, Nov. 11.

Citizens of Columbus, Georgia, Fort Benning, and the surrounding area honored the country’s veterans at the annual parade.
