On-post trick-or-treating for residents to take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

FORT BENNING, Ga. (Oct. 27, 2017) – Fort Benning residents will observe Halloween Tuesday, Oct. 31, with trick-or-treating from 6 to 8 p.m.

Fort Benning residents are encouraged to limit trick-or-treating to the housing area where they live.

Children 13 years and younger are allowed to trick-or-treat.

Trick-or-treaters should observe all basic safety precautions, including wearing reflective, fire-resistant costumes that are short enough to prevent tripping, using makeup instead of masks that restrict vision, carrying a flashlight, and using caution when crossing streets.

Pet owners should ensure their pets are confined to prevent them from being a nuisance.
