FORT BENNING, Ga. – This week the Fort Benning Libraries join other military, special, school and public libraries worldwide to celebrate the dynamic changes that are happening in libraries today.
This is a week to highlight the changing role of libraries, librarians and library workers. This year’s theme is “Libraries Transform.”
First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April.
The Fort Benning Libraries are using this year’s theme, “Libraries Transform”, to ensure that the Maneuver Center of Excellence lines of effort are accessible and available for all ages at the libraries.
