FORT BENNING, Ga. – The Fort Benning Bengals youth high school football team captured the 58th Peanut Bowl

championship Nov. 19 rolling over the Phenix City Titans 32-6 at A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium.

Fort Benning Bengals Jalen St. James scored three touchdowns and recorded five tackles and Rontayevon Grant scored two touchdowns, recovered a fumble and netted an interception during the title game.

The Bengals advanced to the championship game by edging the Russell County Stars, 15-12 on Nov. 11. The Bengals finished the season at 8-2.
