FORT BENNING, Ga – The Fort Benning International Military Student Office sponsored a luncheon Nov. 4 to encourage and assist In Class Sponsors to show new International Military Students about U.S. culture and community, as well as help them in their respective courses of study.

The IMSO provides education and vignettes on what a sponsor does, and provides ideas from past sponsors. During the luncheon, members from the IMSO staff and Maneuver Center of Excellence leaders spoke with the students and sponsors to facilitate discussion and share lessons learned.

The event also gave the students an opportunity to get to know their sponsors and families.
