FORT BENNING, Ga. – UPDATE (Nov. 18) The Fort Benning Bengals high school football team advanced to the regional championship game by edging the Russell County Stars, 15-12 on Nov. 11.

The Bengals, 7-2 on the season, square off against the Phenix City Titans, 7-2, for the championship title Saturday, Nov. 19 at A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium.
